Defibrillators
During the last two or three months we have been presenting defibrillators to schools in Bolton and also organised training for the use of them. If you go to the Links heading on our website there is a link to an article in the Bolton News which gives a detailed report of one of our presentations. Suffice to say in this article that we have so far supplied St Peter and St Paul RC Primary, St Paul's C of E Primary, Johnson Fold Community Primary, and The Valley Community Primary, schools. On the 19th of May we presented St Michael's C of E Primary with our fifth defibrillator.
The presentation at St Paul's was in memory of Dilys Taylor who was the partner of one of our members, Steve Pendlebury. An official presentation was held at the Reebok Stadium on Saturday 12th April at 12:45, before the Wanderers match with Barnsley.
Below is a photo of the presentation at St Paul's with Publicity Relations Officer, Jeff Hartley, on the left, and members of the training team from Bolton Wanderers Community Trust to whom we presented a cheque for £250 in recognition of this important work.
